Description

According to the US Census Bureau, Millennials (born between 1982 and 2000) now outnumber baby boomers, reflecting a more diverse population in the United States (44.2% represent a minority race or ethnic group). By 2025, Millennials are expected to make up 75% of the global workforce (Deloitte, 2014 Millennial Survey). This generation believes that “job creation”, “profit generation” and “improving society” are activities that businesses should try to achieve, matching their own ideals (Deloitte, 2015 Millennial Survey). 60% of millennials also clarify that a sense of purpose is part of the reason they chose to work for their current employer (Deloitte, 2015 Millennial Survey). Generation Z is also beginning to shift into entry-level positions, while 3.4 million baby boomers will turn 65 this year. Is your organization reflecting the most multi-generational workforce in history?
