Biography

Amy Clark is Vice President of Talent Management which includes the entire lifecycle of talent coming into and growing with the company. She has a passion for building teams and functions to increase organization, team and individual effectiveness. In her role, Amy led the establishment of Sallie Mae’s talent development program through collaboration with cross-functional senior leaders to effectively prioritize and execute on key talent initiatives. Most notably, she led the organization in the build and implementation of a competency model - the thread to all talent practices and including a suite of tools to foster team and individual development. Amy also had the privilege to lead the development and execution of management and leadership development programs. Amy joined Sallie Mae in 2005 and has held roles in general Human Resources Management, Employee Relations, HR Business Partner and Talent Management. Amy graduated from the University of Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from Medaille College in Buffalo, NY. Amy is certified as an Organization Development Professional and a certified Executive Coach.
